The 28 year old, originally Susan Harvey, reportedly passed out at Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island few hours after flying into the country from LA.
The artiste who is on Kennis Music record label was made more popular with Nigerians with her performance at the recently concluded Big Brother Star Game.
She had remained in the news for several of her projects and her alleged relationship with another star of the reality TV game show, Prezo.
Although News and Muse could not independently confirm Goldie's death immediately, sources close to the artiste confirmed her demise.
A message supposedly from her Facebook Admin and also through her Twitter handle @goldieharvey confirmed the celebrities death saying "It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you all that Goldie passed this night shortly after arriving Lagos from LA. May her soul rest in the eternal peace of the Lord – Admin!!”
Goldie was at the Grammy Award earlier in the week .
